Antediluvians RFC vs St. Albert RFC Old Sturgeons

The Antediluvians RFC played the St. Albert RFC Old Sturgeons on Druids Day Saturday July 14th at the Lynn Davies Rugby Park. It started out as a bit of a blustery day with the wind being a factor. The big rain the night before made the fields soft and perfect for old boys rugby . The game was well played with the St. Albert lads led by Danny Rose opening the scoring. The Antes picked up momentum as the game progressed and they got the wind at their back for the second half of the game. Woodie Power led the charge with Scotty Van D, Jamie, and Wade Hines stepping up on the day.

Good clean old boys game with the right amount of intensity and friendly old boys rugby. Lloyd , our South African referee did a commendable job keeping the game on track. Officially a tie, like all old boy rugby games. Great post game hosting by the Druids and the Ante-D’s.
