In conjunction with the Canada v Romania test match, the Edmonton Rugby Union and Rugby Canada are hosting a Fundraising Dinner on Wednesday, June 14 (poster attached). At the dinner we will have Live and Silent Auctions for the future development of rugby in Edmonton and Canada.

Canadian rugby legend Gareth Rees and Waisale Serevi, considered to be the greatest rugby sevens player in the history of the game, are our special guests. The entire Rugby Canada senior men’s squad will be in attendance with several players seated at every table.

Could I please ask you to circulate to your membership? It would be wonderful to see the Antediluvian’s out. We are as well still looking for the donations of auction items. Our fundraising events would not be successful without the continued support of you...our member clubs, for which we are very grateful. The monies raise in this event will provide much needed support to the Edmonton Rugby Union, Ellerslie Rugby Park and Rugby Canada.
